The Prankster is a Hardmode NPC vendor who sells several unique items such as the Spooky Scroll and the Fooling Mask, as well as providing the Randomize and (Prankster's name) Bag functions.
It appears to be a girl with a purple coat and jeans. She can be acquired after you find her in the Hallow biome. She appears on top of a pearlwood tree throwing Rotten Eggs at you. The player must chop the tree down and talk to her to make her join you. She doesn't spawn if the player doesn't have a vacant house. If threatened by enemies, she will throw Tomatoes at them.
The Prankster's functions[]
The Randomizer option grants the player a random buff or debuff for 5 minutes at the cost of 5 gold coins. The buffs/debuffs include pet buffs; Melfork, Werewolf and similar buffs; Chaos state; Potion sickness; etc.
The (Prankster's name) Bag option functions similar to a safe or piggy bank, except it doesn't connect with piggy banks or safes, it connects with the player's Prank Bags.
