Patient Zero is a pre-hardmode boss that is summoned by The Cure. It is the boss for the The Infestation and can be also summoned by breaking three Hive Pods. It tries to circle you during the fight and has a swarm around it that gives you the 'Zeroed ' debuff. Once it is hurt half of its health its swarm will dissipate and the boss will split into 10 smaller versions of itself and will turn back into its normal form and repeat this every 30 seconds. Like most bosses it can move through blocks.
