Phoenix are an SSM Apocalypse Mode miniboss. They spawn in Space, 50% of the time instead of Wyverns. They shoot fireballs that deal 140/175/210/245 damage, and inflict the On Fire! debuff, for until they are defeated, or despawn. Phoenix will fly toward the player, and deal 20 damage on contact.
