The Decayed Pickaxe is a Hard Mode pickaxe. When it mines a block it will decay but spread and decay other blocks. The spread is a larger radius then dynamite by about 3 blocks. The spread of the decay is slow so it will take about 30 seconds to destroy all blocks. If you break all decayed blocks before it spreads fully it will no longer spread. The decayed blocks can also spread through walls. This pickaxe does not destroy blocks by hitting them.
