The Death Ward is a stationary monster summoned by Reapers of Souls and the Keeper of the Night. It looks like a big crystal. The death wards destroy all light and light sources within 15 blocks. If any player decides to come anywhere within 20 blocks of the ward, the ward will shoot out a black beam towards the player and suck it in, very much like the wall of flesh's tongue ability. It slows player within 20 blocks of it by 50% and increases the speed of monsters within the radius by 75%.
